Treasured Motorcar Services has been restoring vintage cars and trucks to pristine condition for over 40 years. Whether it’s a small repair job, minor renovation or a complete restoration, we have skilled technicians that are eager to get their hands dirty and go above and beyond to return your aging classic to as-new perfection.
When we receive a car for restoration, we inspect it from top to bottom, inside and out. We research the individual history and specifications of the vehicle to establish a clear goal for the project. A master plan is drawn up to ensure that every step from disassembly to final polish is completed in the proper manner and sequence, and the entire project is done to our high standards. We make every effort to restore and rebuild original vehicle components whenever possible, and also have the resources and contacts to source NOS, used or reproduction parts when the job calls for it.
Our team is proudly built from passionate car enthusiasts with decades of experience. For every car that enters our shop, our technicians are eager to jump in and see that project through to the end. With ASE and ICAR certifications, as well as multiple manufacturer certifications, our technicians are more than qualified to bring your treasure back to life.
Founder Geoffrey Griffiths started Treasured Motorcar Services in the winter of 1980, performing automotive restoration and repair from his garage in Northern Baltimore County. Geoffrey has always been involved in the automotive industry. After joining a Lucas Industries (UK) apprentice program, he was transferred to Lucas in New York. He retired from Lucas USA after working in their North American distribution network, as well as representing them with the major sports car manufacturers. (September 7, 1938 – March 18, 2015)
Founder Barbara Griffiths was involved in the automotive world as a lifelong enthusiast. She spent her formative years living in Southern California, and attended the University of California, Berkeley, where she developed her talents as an artist and fueled her early passion for driving at the wheel of an MGA Twin-Cam Coupe. Her automotive knowledge combined with a clever business acumen was invaluable in the development and guidance of Treasured Motorcar Services for over 35 years. (March 12, 1938 – June 20, 2024)
Allison is the daughter of Founders Geoffrey and Barbara Griffiths, and growing up with vintage and exotic cars has created a lifelong enthusiast. Stepping away from the business, but never the passion, Allison built successful careers in Marketing and Law Enforcement before owning and operating an enclosed vehicle transport company. This experience afforded many opportunities to increase her car knowledge and business sense. Allison returned to Treasured Motorcar Services in 2007 and is enthusiastically guiding her family business into the future.
